This is my transformational painting of Captain Marvel Vol. 16, No. 92. The original artwork was first published January 1959. To create the amazing 3D effect of my style, I reverse paint on multiple layers of optically clear acrylic. This particular painting has 7 layers which gives it a depth of over 1 1/8 inches.
